SHINING TREE
in the heart of Matachewan-Kirkland Lake
PROJECT overview

Located in the famed Matachewan-Kirkland Lake mining district. 111 Moz of gold has been identified in resource estimates along the break, making this structure a major world-class host of gold.

  • Along the highly prolific Cadillac- Larder Lake Break (CLLB) gold-endowed structural zone
  • Mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks (major host to Au in the region) underlie claims
  • Several mineral occurrences in this rock unit nearby
  • Ownership: 100%

Shining Tree

DEPOSIT potential

Recent and historical exploration work on and adjacent to Shining Tree has shown the immediate area to have potential in various possible deposit styles, commodities, and host lithologies and geological contexts. Cross-cut by northeast trending faults which allows for possible focusing of ore fluids at the intersection with the CLLB.

EXPLORATION PLANS

The Shining Tree property has historically been underexplored. As such, the first main step would be desktop studies addressing synthesis of historical soil geochemical, drilling, geological mapping, and geophysics. From there, plans for on the ground work can be developed.

  • Geophysical survey to determine the location of the CLLB, identify anomalies for follow up drilling and define the depth to Archean greenstone rocks.
  • Generation of drill targets based on the synthesis of historical data, geophysical program.
  • Drill program to fine-tune the geological knowledge and test ore-host relationship hypotheses and characteristics. Then further refinement.

GOLD CENTRE

Located in the heart of the highest-grade gold camp in North America, having produced over 29.5 M ounces of gold at an average grade of 15.41 g/t Au during the past 91 years.

RIVARD

The Rivard Property consists of one lease of six contiguous minerals claims encompassing 90 hectares. Modest coarse gold production from pits and trenches has been ongoing for more than 2 decades by the Rivard family.
