Trillium Gold

PROJECT
OVERVIEW
Previous exploration suggests over 20 individual high-grade zones along the current strike length of the northeast-trending Newman Todd Structure (NTS).
Worth the weight
Deposit Potential

Until now it has been only sparsely drilled or tested at depths below 400 meters. Therefore, the project has excellent potential: mineralization remains open along strike and depth, and potentially in postulated parallel features. Over 40% of the drilled holes have intercepted greater than 10g/t Au over various interval lengths.

Early exploration was carried out on the southwest extension of the property in the middle 1930s and again later in the middle 1940s. There is little information available about work in these periods aside from reports regarding trenching, drilling and bulk sampling.

Exploration Results
56 holes drilled in 2011 identified zones of high-grade gold mineralization along the northeast trending NTS, and at depth. Geological mapping and surface sampling programs led to the discovery of high-grade gold mineralization at surface. This opened the possibility of discovering a near-surface resource.

Assay results from the 2012 program targeting the central NTS Hinge Zone were excellent:
In the Southwest Extension, diamond drill hole results reported in The Northern Mine (1946), after converting gold values at $38.50 per ounce, include:19.60 gpt Au over 1.52 m (0.63 opt over 5 ft)
Exploration Results
Despite extensive drilling on the property, there remains a gap to the northeast along the NTS, and at depths below about 350 to 400 meters. Additionally, a synthesis of previous exploration, reports, and fieldwork has given rise to new ideas such as the potential for multiple stacked horizons of mineralization, and new targets to test in a renewed exploration and drilling program.

As of November 15, total 2021 drilling stands at 15,927 metres on the combined Newman Todd and Rivard Projects. The following tables provide all significant composite data and drill hole collars for the drill programs undertaken by Trillium Gold in 2020 and 2021.

In the Southwest Extension, gold is observed in quartz veins in drill core, outcrops and in trenches across the property. Modest coarse gold production from pits and trenches has been ongoing for more than two decades by the Rivard family.
Historically, the Southwest Extension contains both visible gold in narrow high-grade veins as well as in broader zones of lower grade gold mineralization. Our technical team will commence an exploration program by updating and confirming the geological data from our predecessors ahead of a drill program planned for later this year.

ALL PROJECTS

Newman Todd

Previous exploration suggests over 20 individual high-grade zones along the current strike length of the northeast trending Newman Todd Structure (NTS).

Rivard [NT West]

In the NT West Extension, gold is observed in quartz veins in drill core, outcrops and in trenches across the property. Modest coarse gold production from pits and trenches has been ongoing for more than two decades by the Rivard family.

Gold Centre

Located in the heart of the highest-grade gold camp in North America, having produced over 29.5 M ounces of gold at an average grade of 15.41 g/t Au during the past 91 years.

Red Lake West

Located in the western margins of the Red Lake mining district on geological trend with Great Bear Resources, Red Lake Gold, and Pacton Gold’s southwest extending properties.

Moose Creek, Caribou Creek & Copperlode West
Two underexplored Greenfield high-potential exploration properties.
Confederation Belt Properties
The 2,175 hectare Pakwash Lake project is located in the Cabin Bay Area of the Red Lake Mining District southeast of Great Bear Resources’ Dixie project.
Birch-Uchi Properties
The discovery of gold at Red Lake in 1926 precipitated approximately 10 years of extensive prospecting activity in the Birch-Uchi greenstone belt, which led to the discovery of numerous showings and several mines.
Larder Lake Properties
The Larder Lake Property covers favourable fault structures within the Larder Lake gold camp, including a 12 km strike length along the easterly trending Misema-Mist Lake Fault, an eastern extension of the highly mineralized Kirkland Lake Fault

Quebec Properties
The 25 claim SW Fenelon property (3,459 ha) is 140 km NNW of Amos, Quebec, and 65 km SE of Detour Lake. Soquem is contiguous to the north claim boundary, Wallbridge Mining and Midland Exploration are due west of the property, and Yourbeau Exploration is to the east.

Shining Tree

Located in the famed Matachewan -Kirkland Lake mining district. 111 Moz of gold has been identified in resource estimates along the break, making this structure a major world-class host of gold.
